We went to Zushi yesterday - Elliot’s first big train riding adventure, and he was a complete angel at the start. We hung out for a while - Linc and Elliot were introduced but couldn’t seem to work out each other just yet. Linc decided to be fascinated by his Mum’s bag and Uncle Bob exposed Riot to the joys of the anpanman mobile…

The smiles before the storm…..

I need more experience of reading the signs of when he gets over stimulated, because that leads to melt down. I didn’t do so well at that yesterday and Bob, Tomoko and Linc were treated to a full-scale Riot melt down.

*sigh*

Linc was pretty chilled out by the whole thing fortunately and Tomoko showed me a neat trick of scrunching up a noisy plastic bag. Seemed to help in the absence of The Cure.

Elliot did crash out on the train and bus ride home though so at least we didn’t have public melt down. He also slept for 4 solid hours when we got home. I guess these will stop when he becomes more used to the world around him. Everything is just too exciting.
